X-Mini speaker

This speaker might be small and cute, but it sure pack great stuff in it. I use it on my iPhone when I want to have a big sound or on my lappy when I need an extra boost in sound. Great technology.

Central Market

When was the last time you’ve visited central market? Yeah, I know, it’s been a while. Got the chance a few weeks back. It brings fond memories.

Kat sinilah dulu tempat melepak memula sampai kat KL. Tempat tengok wayang. Tempat bertenet dan shopping sekali sekala. Tempat perjumpaan nak makan makan dan sebagainya.

Took my time to roam about the place. There’s still some old hang out places and there’s a lot of facelifts. It’s nice to be there again.

In the Land of Women

His world in complete disorder after his break-up with a famous actress, Carter, a young soft-core porn writer, goes to suburban Detroit to care for his sickly Grandmother and heal his broken heart. Along the way he forms a special bond with the family that lives across from his Grandma, and changes the life of each woman.

Story about a guy which seems a bit loss. He’s at a stage in his life where he don’t know what to do. He’s work is not that great. His girlfriend left him. And he just wants to get out of it for a while and he got a chance when his grandmother fell sick and he decided to take care of her. Yeah, weird, I know.

But he ends up at a quaint little town where he got to unwind and met a few girls…. a mother and daughter combination to be exact. His relationship with them is a bit blurry, I know. It seemed that he’s a nice guy but at the same time, took advantage of their endearment to him. But he didn’t take it too far. He knows where the line were.

An okay movie to watch but not that good either. I like Kristen Stewart and she played herself in this movie almost like what she played in the Twilight series.

The Blind Side

A movie about how a woman and her family made a difference to a man.

This is a movie where Sandra Bullock shines through. She played a white woman who sees a young black boy in trouble, where nowhere to go and she goes out of her way to help him. She had to go through a lot of things. It’s not easy being in her position to help. Her friends and people around her looked at her like she’s doing something wrong. But I like her in this movie. She’s this woman who is headstrong, and holds the bulls by the horn. She couldn’t care less about all the people that did not matter. Someone said: “Do and say what you want. Because who mind doesn’t matter, and those who matter doesn’t mind”. That’s what she is in this movie.

And her family was very supportive too. It’s like the whole family is color blind. There just see someone in trouble, and they just go ahead and helped him. It’s like he’s already their family from day one.

The movie was based on a real story and it’s heartwarming to know that something like this is is happening in real life. This is very islamic. To help people in need. No matter who he is and where he’s been. People should should help each other no matter what. Other small minded people mind think otherwise, but do they know? and why do you care about them?
