Hari raya to me comes and goes. Not much difference to daily things, I have to admit. I know that it should be something more, and yes, somehow it is. Just that it’s not like when we were young, right? We were really waiting for that day when when we can eat in the day and to wear that new baju melayu and getting that duit raya. But now, the fun is different. I now enjoy the fact this is the time that we can drop by to see our relatives and friends, sometimes uninvited and unannounced. And oh, how I love the holiday. The long, long holiday. Only once a year can we get this.
