Another movie played by Zooey Deschanel. do you remember the series ‘Bones’ and the girl that is the heroin of the series? Zooey is her younger sister. that’s cool. I like their eyes. what color is that? Hazel?

this story is about Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl doesn’t.

as I watch this, I cannot help but felt sorry for Tom Hansen who fell in love with his co-worker, Summer Finn (hence the name of movie). he was so besotted with her. and he managed to get to know her quite intimately. but suddenly, without any hint whatsover, she broke up with him. so he went through the whole relationship from front to back to find out why did she broke up with him and how he can win her back.

it’s so sad to see Tom trying his level best to win her heart. such is the game of love. you don’t know how best to do it. so you just do what you think is right. and when it didn’t work out, it sux… we’ve all been there, right? c’est la vie.

but in the end, he managed to turn his life around and may get another girl. this time, her name is autumn. coincidence?he he.

another character that i really like is Tom’s sister. though young, she really gives good advise to him and way matured than her age. you should really check her out.

Trivias that I found interesting:

The film’s blue-centric color scheme was done to bring out Zooey Deschanel‘s eyes.

Zooey Deschanel chose her own song for the karaoke scene, the Sugartown song. I guess she’s also a singer.
